Join First Step Robotics this October for a day of LEGO building, robotics, coding and artificial intelligence. Two Age Groups Ages 8–10 Fun, practical activities introducing young people to LEGO robotics, coding and AI. Ages 11–14 More advanced challenges exploring robotics, programming, AI and computational thinking. Activities are adapted to suit each age group, so both beginners and experienced young makers can take part and develop their skills. What Will We Explore? Participants will get hands-on experience with our brand-new LEGO Education Computer Science & AI kits, recently released by LEGO Education. They will: Build and engineer LEGO robots Learn coding through LEGO Education Coding Canvas Explore loops, events and conditionals Control motors and sensors Discover how AI can learn from data Explore AI computer vision and classification Train an AI model to recognise different objects or actions Create interactive projects using AI Take on creative design and robotics challenges Learn by Making Students will work collaboratively, solve problems, experiment with technology and develop their creativity, computational thinking, coding and engineering skills. Whether they are taking their first steps into robotics or already enjoy coding and technology, there will be challenges to keep them engaged.
